REALISING GOD’S LOVE

I have loved you with an everlasting love.

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!

KNOWING GOD’S PEACE

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you….Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14 v.27

Lord, give me confidence to trust You, and to allow your peace into my heart and life. Amen

SERVING GOD

Whatsoever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord….it is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Colossians 3 v 23 24.

…serve one another in love.
Galatians 5 v.13

 Help me Lord, to do even the lowliest jobs as for you and to your glory, and to  know that what I do for others I do for you.  Amen

ACCEPTING GOD’S FORGIVENESS

He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities.
Isaiah 53 v.5

If we confess………He is faithful and just and will forgive…
1 John 1 v.9

Father, I accept your forgiveness through Jesus your Son. Thank you for  Jesus, and for His amazing love for me.  Amen

TRUSTING GOD FOR THE FUTURE

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding…..he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3 v.5

Father, when the future is uncertain and life seems full of worries, help me to know that you will show me the right way, and help me to walk in it.  Amen

EVERLASTING LIFE

No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived, what God  has prepared for those who love him.
1 Corinthians 2 v9

I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.
John 6 v. 47

I trust you – my loving Lord and Saviour – for all that is past, for all that is here in the present, for all that is to come on earth, and for all eternity. Amen

REALISING GOD’S PRESENCE

Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 91 v 15

He will call upon me and I will answer him.
Psalm 40 , v10

Living God, give me faith to believe that you are my Father. Help me to be ready to receive all that you have promised to those who seek you.  Amen

ACCEPTING GOD’S STRENGTH

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak ... those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
Isaiah 40 v. 29, 31

Lord, help me to take hold of the strength you offer when life is tough and the going seems hard. Help me to go on, knowing that you are beside me and will never let me go. Amen
