Advent and Christmas

Post by Caroline » Sun Dec 01, 2013 12:25 pm

It is the first day of Advent today, as well as the first day of December.

Please visit our i-church Advent Calendar, which has a new page every day from now until Christmas Eve - it's our gift to everyone at Christmas-time.

You may also have noticed that we have a special, seasonal board this year, with two sections, one for anything to do with Christmas, and the other for discussion about the Advent Book.

These seasonal boards are at the bottom of 'The Meeting Place' on the front page of the Courtyard forums.

Snowflakes in December are fair enough, Emie, so long as they are only in pictures.

hear, hear !! :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold: :cold:
In the triumph of prayer
Twofold is the spell.
With the folding of hands
There's a spreading of wings
And the soul's lifted up to invisible lands
And ineffable peace .....

Loving the calendar, Caroline, although I am slightly disappointed that it doesn't deposit chocolate on the keyboard Willy Wonka-style! :p JK
