sorry to those of you waiting for worship tonight .... something must have happened but hopefully Peter will be here next week :)

There's a spreading of wings
And the soul's lifted up to invisible lands
And ineffable peace .....

The chapel is open now, by the way. I got in at about 20.35. It said earlier that it would be open from 20.26 to 21.30 so I thought I'd give it a try.

To everyone who was waiting for prayer this evening, please accept my profound apologies.

I got my time differences wrong - I feel real silly at the moment and disappointed for everyone who wished to attend the service.

Again, please accept my apologies.

Dear all,

I tried to access the Chapel without success - it's closed.

I'll postpone the service for this evening and be back next week.

Blessings for the week :)

Cheers Peter

Sorry about that everyone.

I usually double check that the room is open before each worship but unfortunately we are having our roof done at the moment and the noise and disturbance are so bad - even on a Sunday! - that it's disrupted me completely.

Anyone else been left knocking at the chapel door but not being let in? Thank goodness for Jesus - reminds me of Matthew 7:7!

I got in just before the end Joyce - it took a lot of clicking on the chapel label on the room tab. Only three of us made it together so guessing a few had a problem?

Hi Joyce
I had a bit of trouble getting in but I did eventually make it.....the café was closed but the chapel was open but I found I had to go right to the end of the Chapel bar and click on the arrow before I got in.

Sorry we missed you

I gave up too soon I think.

Last time the chapel was closed as well so I assumed it was closed this week too.

I have checked the settings and everything should be open for Sunday worship.

If there is a problem, please email me on web pastor@i-church.org and I will double check.

It takes quite a long time for anything to happen after I've logged into the chapel on my new laptop so do bear that in mind as well. I'm on a Mac, I don't know if that makes any difference. Also, iPads will not be able to log into the chapel as you can't download Java onto iPads.

Pam, when you said grace for our dinner when I was at my friend's house the other week we were on her Mac and so far I recall we had no problems getting in at all.

It's not so much a problem, as a pause. It takes about 30 seconds before the "logging onto Java" wheel starts spinning. That's quite a long time compared with how long it used to take on my previous laptop.
