Wednesday Worship

Post by Pam » Wed Nov 06, 2013 3:06 pm

Wednesday worship will start in the chapel at 8.30 pm tonight. We will be remembering the medieval visionary Margery Kempe who was a contemporary of Mother Julian of Norwich.

There are no special resources, so please log in through the link to the chapel at the top of the page.

I got sent out just as we finished the service, I've tried to get back in, to no avail, sorry I couldn't spend some more time with you all. I do thank you all for joining me here tonight it's been lovely to share worship with you.

Sorry didn't get to say bye Jennifer , guessed puter problems were at work .

Thankyou all for your prayers, they were much appreciated . I believe that though our own crisis's may seem small against those of the world , God will nevertheless grant them attention if we do but ask.

I've been having problems with Java in Firefox on some sites (although not this one, strangely). I go to Chrome when I need to - it's definitely worth trying if you're having problems.

I have a hunch that Firefox is getting a bit annoyed with Java updates that don't function properly and isn't compensating the way it has in the past. I just hope that they have some success in getting Java to sort itself out!
Kindness is underrated.

So sorry I missed the service last night Pam

Inclement weather ...gales of 90 mph ...do not bode well for internet connection ..we now have hail on lowland, snow on high ground and more gales just for good measure.

:votive1: for anyone having to cope with disruption due to weather conditions.

Aw, we missed you Emle

The weather was really blustery even this far south so it must have been really wild where you are!

Mine was dreadful yesterday - just for once I can't blame Java, it was clearly my ISP that couldn't keep a steady signal going.

Better today so far ... hoping it will stay on all day!

Hi,
Anyone else having problems gaining access to the chapel this evening? On browsers Firefox, Safari, and Google I am getting the message, chapel closed until 8.30, then closed again 2 minutes later(example of the times).
I will keep trying to join anyone who has managed to enter chapel.

Yes I had the same problem. I was also told that the room didn't exist every time I tried to get into the chapel. I couldn't see anybody else. In addition the 'Welcome' voce kept repeating like a broken record so eventually I gave up trying. Looks as though I should have persevered a little longer, sorry.
