A reflection for February 16, 2020, "How do we make the most of the rest of our life?" based on Matthew 5:21-37, for 6 Epiphany (A), is the first one at http://www.sjnj.com

We are people on a journey to come closer to God’s will for us. Our lives are the Gospel, sometimes the only Good News others will ever hear or see. Pray for Christ to help us bring others closer to him.
Peace and blessings,
Joe

We went to church Sunday in midtown Manhattan. All was so normal. And we were all blessed by God.

Are we coming unglued?

A Resurrection angel points the way to the Risen Lord as an example for us to follow. The long night is coming to an end. Do not give up hope, and keep on loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.

A sermon for Easter Vigil (A), Saturday, April 11, 2020, "Are we coming unglued?" based on Matthew 20: 1-10, is the first one at http://www.sjnj.com
Peace and blessings,
Joe

Is this the end, my friend?

Sunday after Easter brings up doubts in many minds. Is this the last Easter season?

A sermon for 2 Easter (A), Sunday, April 19, 2020, "Is this the end, my friend?" based on John 20: 19-31, is the first one at http://www.sjnj.com
Peace and blessings,
Joe
