Father Thomas Keating

Father Thomas Keating who is 95 years old and a founding member of Contemplative Outreach, Trappist Monk and author of many books on contemplation and developing a personal relationship with God, especially the much loved Open Mind, Open Heart which has helped so many people adopt the practice of centering prayer is sadly very ill and has been transferred to the Infirmary of Saint Joseph's Abbey, Spencer, Massachusetts, USA where he can receive 24/7 care which he now needs due to a serious illness and is reported to be doing as well as can be expected.

Please pray for him and his carers

I'm very sad to report that Father Thomas Keating passed away on October 25th at St Joseph's Infirmary at the Monastery in Massachusetts, US.

Giving thanks for his life and all that he brought to the world and to individuals seeking God.

May he rest in peace and rise in glory
