Work situation

Post by adventgirl » Sun Oct 28, 2012 8:36 pm

Hi
I am completely new to this forum. I found out about it through Songs of Praise. My husband is facing an unjust disciplinary hearing as is his boss. My husbands hearing is Tuesday at 10am. He could lose his job. We are both Christians and know God is in control but it is so tough at the moment. Our 18 yr old daughte is also struggling with Ulcerative Colitis and Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. She is working at a Christian conference centre as a volunteer for a year and needs to be well. her medication is not working and she is so anaemic she needs an iron transfusion. And this weekend my mother was taken to hospital with a chest infection. Fortunately the antibiotics have kicked in and after staying with us for the weekend she has gone home. Now you know why we need prayer. God is great and I want to thank him for everything. I just need some prayer support to help me with this journey.

Prayers, thoughts and sympathy adventgirl.

"Underneath are the everlasting arms" (Deuteronomy 33:27)... even if it is sometimes hard to feel them.
Kindness is underrated.

In the triumph of prayer
Twofold is the spell.
With the folding of hands
There's a spreading of wings
And the soul's lifted up to invisible lands
And ineffable peace .....

"It never rains but what it pours."
You seem to be facing a storm of troubles at the moment.

:votive2: :votive1: :minicandle: For the whole family to be sustained through it all.
