Today marks the 25th anniversary of the ordination of women to the priesthood in the Church of England. Women now serve at every level of ordained ministry except Archbishop!

25th anniversary of the ordination of women to the priesthood

Maybe today is the day to read my recent birthday present - Archbishop, by Michele Guinness!

Been following the hashtag on twitter #JustaPriest25 and enjoying the widely varying ministries of those priests on there. @RedJules sparked it. We went to BAP together, she got through, I didn't, but her ministry has excited me as I followed her progress and blog ever since. :thumbs:

Please pray for Rev. Judy as she does the funeral for her granddaughter and for her great granddaughter who is hanging on to life by a thread after both were in a tragic automobile accident. :praying:

Rev. Judy said her great granddaughter is going home from the hospital very soon. She has no permanent damage. And Rev. Judy thanks all of you for your prayers. She said the funeral for her granddaughter was "amazing glorious".
Thanks for your remembrance of Rev Judy and her family in their time of need.
